Who I Am…
As an artist, I have come to discover that the reason I continue to create is to have the effect of inspiration in others. And that is the only motivation (as far as I’m concerned) that there is in the universe. In a way, you could say it’s “helping others shine” and that is the motivation behind “Help Yourself Shine”.
I have a saying that “Rhyme Heals All Wounds” which has become a song and even a digital radio show about this very subject, and this is about the fact that what performing artists like myself create is a “healing” power in others whereby they can be inspired and positively (if momentarily) become the best version of themselves, a time during which they can make decisions which push them in a survival direction.
As artists, we don’t just shine, we help others shine. I just happen to be a professional and expert in a variety of fields which allows me to push people toward this end!
I am about helping others shine. Always have been.
P. T. Barnum once said, “The noblest art is that of making others happy.” and, in that, he said quite a mouthful, something I couldn’t have stated better (nor would I want to try)! Help Yourself Shine is about that!
Who Is Punkly?
In a word: ME!
Punkly is a loveable character who wants to express himself to inspire others, to spread happiness and pull people out of anything they’re stuck in.
He started as a logo for my band and I ended up realizing he is all heart, all creative spirit, all in and, essentially, ALL ME!
You will see him everywhere, but mostly in the logo of my 2022 project “Go Ahead Punk!”
Public Speaking, Lecturing and Seminars
Taking the stage on a variety of subjects, my passion is to really get through to people with fundamentals that can change their lives. Fundamentals and basics are what get through to people to help them see things in the correct light. Whether lecturing and coaching on voiceovers, music and rhythm, health and wellness, mind potential and even spirituality.
I am passionate about getting through people’s “noise” and penetrating enough to get them to recognize concepts that will appropriately shift their paradigm to be able to view things logically and accomplish the otherwise impossible!
