Can You Change the Future?
What would it take to actually change the future?
It would be wonderful to be able to do. Imagine what you could do with that ability!
Predict the rise and fall of the stock market, know what moves to make in business to crush your best outcome (and income for that matter!). Not have to “play the odds” all the time and always bet on the sure thing.
What a world it would be if you could simply know the future.
But, can it really be done?
You would think that we’ve seen enough movies involving time travel to know the answer to this question by now.
Although their cinematic representation and depiction may be far-fetched, and time travel only a figment of science fiction writers’ fantasies, there is some logic to how you could indeed change the future. And, while time travel isn’t possible, the future can still be changed in its absence.
But, don’t rule time travel out just yet. More on that in a minute…
Certainly, there are enough visits to psychics each year to prove definitively that there is at least a desire, a bona fide need to know the future, with many confronting their destinies and fates, come what may, paying any amount of money to obtain them.
This is not to say psychics are not clairvoyant, that crystal balls don’t portend truthful destiny or that Tarrots or palms can’t tell a lion’s share of fortune. Nor is there any implication that prophets are charlatans or their prophecies fraud.
On the contrary, regardless of whatever means one would use to “see” the future, the fact remains that its revelation is key, not to simply know, but to CHANGE your future. You could indeed change the future if only you could “see” it.
Factually and logically, you COULD change the future but only under the condition that you could predict it, specifically, and down to the last detail. Only then could it be under your command.
Interesting in theory, but could you predict, change and control the future , practically and in reality?
It would require that you have a precise vision of the future, exactly as it exists on the path you’re on. This would clearly enable you to make a change to your advantage.
But how would you even do that?
Do you have to be psychic to predict the future?
This depends, first, on how you define “psychic”.
If, for instance, you consider it a clairvoyant quality that gives someone a general feeling or perception providing vague details which could be subject to interpretation, you’re talking about an intangible “prediction” hardly worthy of the name.
A future that could manifest in widely-variant ways would be one which was difficult to change as it cannot be predicted with any exactness. How could you change “maybe” plans you have? Definite plans, on the other hand, could be changed rather easily…
But, if by “psychic” you meant a detailed observation of the path one has been following and where it likely leads if continued, with a precisely predicted outcome, then, yes, you would need to be a psychic.
“Psychic” ability notwithstanding, it matters more to make a more factual and ACTUAL observation than a mere “look” in the “mind’s eye” when it comes to prediction.
This, however, is far from psychic and could be defined best in a word: PRACTICAL!
What secret, practical ingredient would you need to predict the future that would enable you to control it?
Now that you know it is the more practical approach that gives you tenable predictability to take actions to fulfill, change, cancel or otherwise control the futures with which you’re faced, you need to know what enables it.
There is one word that summates future prediction far more practically than “clairvoyance”.
That word is METRICS!
When you keenly observe the situation, using metrics is anything but secret. But, there is a secret to the word “metrics” that makes it a bit of an enigma. For “metrics” depends upon one hidden-in-plain-sight factor that is the key to real prediction of the future.
Predicting the future largely depends upon “the path you’re on”, a fact that seems simple enough, yet implies a certain permanence to “futures” predicted in fortune-telling.
If the “path you’re on” is permanent, then any predicted outcome for you in the future would be more or less imminent and etched in stone.
But, is the path you’re on an inalterable fact? Can you change where you’ve already been in absence of time travel?
First, you need to understand the one component of that is the make-break between fate and controllable destiny…
What one fact can break the curse of fate and put the future under your control?
We know that “metrics” is the key to practical fortune-telling, but measuring “how much” of something falls short of providing a changeable outcome.
Knowing how much money you have today, for instance, doesn’t necessarily indicate how much you’ll have tomorrow, even if you look at your plans for that money.
No, it isn’t one metric, but two, that make “future vision” a controllable reality.
That second factor?
TIME!
Three people who have $1 million in the bank today can have 3 drastically varied futures. One would be in for a $100 million early retirement while another resorting to the Poor House as their retirement home of choice. And still, a third can yet have that same million in the bank 20 years hence, only it isn’t worth even close to its original value.
What does time have to do with the stories of three different people with the same “today” situation?
Everything!
And you’ll have to travel in time to track it, see it and control it.
To change the future, you WILL have to travel in time (and it’s totally possible!)…
If you are to predict the future based on your current path, you first have to look at the past. That requires a little “time travel” of sorts.
A closer look into the past of our early, $100 million retiree reveals that each year her bank balance expanded from certain promotional actions she took in her business to progressively build it.
Her steep increase in promotion and delivery of her product to a raving public point in a direction, and that direction is up, up, up!
Our Poor House retiree had been progressively taking “wrong turns” in business, squandering profits and progressively investing more and more inadequately in promotional actions. Each year, going backward in time, there was more bank balance to show and more actions done to earn it. Coming forward, this was a downhill struggle.
This “path” was one of annual decline and shrinkage, pointing in a direction that went down, down, down! A pretty obvious future in-store when you look at the trajectory.
But, even our “miser” who carefully saved, protected and refused to spend any of the “cool mil” in the bank has a revealing and predictive timeline.
That person had this million for decades prior and planned to keep it for years to come.
Perceived commonly as “good sound financial management” his past track reveals something far more telling. This person, decades ago, was wealthy with that same million dollars, which makes him merely average today and more than likely a pauper in the not-too-distant future if he continues on this otherwise-considered “stable trajectory”.
We could argue many scenarios but would have to agree on one fact: we had to travel to the past and follow the timeline forward to understand the direction going forward to a predictable future!
And, having seen the past and present, you can not only predict the future, but you can also CHANGE it!
If you could just attain these metrics, it’s clear you could formulate a plan to solidify, expand or otherwise change your future for the better.
But, are there formulas to accomplish this end? Can you plot and direct the future to one of your desire, planning and accomplishment?
The ‘unsecret’ formula for success, prosperity and a future you dictate…
Think about it for a moment… What would you actually need to not only predict the future, but do so in such a way that you can change and control it?
You would first need the ingenuity to observe the progress from past to present and, based on this curve, predict where things will likely end up if continued on that path. This would include the direction of the progress, phases of increase, decline or no change).
It would also require that you knew the nature of how the state of things naturally changes from one phase to another, the behaviors and manifestations of each and the rules governing change of direction.
Sound impossible?
Well, don’t look anywhere else for proof than in your own life and environment. Have you ever been on a sharp decline at work, with your health, in a relationship, and somehow turned it around? Have you ever decided on a future for yourself, went for it and achieved it?
